Cosmic Caravan ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, process, and store when you play our games, including One Shot Beat, or contact us, and how you can request deletion of your data.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information to operate our games, improve gameplay, and resolve technical problems:
- Meta platform information: your Meta app-scoped user ID, display name, and Oculus username, collected through Meta's User ID and User Profile features (see "Meta Platform Data We Collect" below).
- Gameplay information: progress, scores, achievements, levels played, session duration, in-game events, and preferences such as difficulty, handedness, and comfort settings.
- Technical information: device and app-installation identifiers, device name and specifications, operating system and game version, installation source, language, approximate region, performance statistics, and startup and crash diagnostics.
- Support information: your email address and any information you choose to include when you contact us.
Headset and controller tracking information is processed on your device as needed for VR gameplay and is not collected or stored by us. We do not collect microphone or camera recordings, or biometric identifiers used to identify you. We do not require your legal name, home address, government identification, or payment-card details to play. Purchases are handled by Meta.
Meta Platform Data We Collect (User ID and User Profile)
One Shot Beat uses Meta's User ID and User Profile platform features. Through these features we collect:
- Meta app-scoped user ID: a numeric identifier that is unique to you within One Shot Beat.
- Display name and Oculus username: used to label your scores on leaderboards.
We do not collect your profile picture, friends list, email address, or any other Meta account information.
How we use it: We use your user ID to submit your scores to Meta's leaderboard service, identify your leaderboard entries, and display your ranking. We use your display name or username to label your scores. Qualifying scores are submitted automatically. Your display name or username, score, and ranking are visible to other players. When showing leaderboards, we also receive other players' user IDs and display names together with their results.
Where it is stored: Your user ID and display name are stored locally on your headset in the game's leaderboard cache, together with cached leaderboard results and pending score submissions. Scores associated with your user ID are stored by Meta's leaderboard service. We do not send your Meta user ID or display name to Google Analytics for Firebase or Firebase Crashlytics, and we do not store them on our own servers.
How long we keep it: The local cache remains until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Leaderboard entries remain until the leaderboard is reset or removed, or until you ask us to delete them.
Deletion: You can request deletion of this data at any time as described in "Requesting Deletion" below. Uninstalling the game removes the local cache.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide game features, maintain progress and results, operate leaderboards, improve game design and balance, understand feature usage, diagnose errors and performance issues, and respond to support and privacy requests.
We use Google Analytics for Firebase for gameplay analytics and Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting. These services collect and process gameplay and technical information, including device and installation identifiers that help associate activity and problems with the same device or installation. Some diagnostics are saved locally and sent when the game next launches. We have disabled advertising features in Google Analytics for Firebase; your information is not used for advertising or ad personalization.

Sharing Information
We share information with Meta to operate platform features such as leaderboards, and with Google to provide analytics, diagnostics, and storage.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect our users, services, or legal rights.
Storage and Security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the relevant features, improve our games, resolve problems, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and service, as described above for Meta platform data. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Requesting Deletion
All users, regardless of country or region, can request deletion of their personal information free of charge.
Email hello@cosmic-caravan.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Include the game name and your Meta username or user ID, if available. If you do not know the relevant identifier, we will help identify the information needed to locate your records.
This includes your leaderboard entries and the Meta user ID and profile data associated with them, as well as analytics and crash-reporting data we control.
We may ask for limited information to verify your request. We will delete associated personal information we control and arrange deletion with relevant service providers as needed. We will respond without undue delay and within applicable legal deadlines.
If limited information must be retained to comply with law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, we will explain why. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup retention cycle ends. Uninstalling the game removes data stored locally on your headset but does not automatically delete records held by our service providers, and playing again may create new records. Deletion through us does not delete your Meta account.
Your Other Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may also request access, correction, a copy of your information, or restriction of or objection to processing, and you may complain to a data protection authority. Contact us using the email below. These rights do not limit the worldwide deletion process above.
Children's Privacy
Our games are intended for players who meet the applicable platform age requirements and game age rating. If you believe a child's information has been collected in violation of applicable law, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy and will revise the date above. We will provide further notice where required by law.
